13/November/2008. Meanwhile, another area on the campsite is being prepared to put some new Bungalows 5p Plus, more about that in the next weeks.
5/November/2008. Again, progress in the destruction of the old building.
1/November/2008. We have quietly changed our web pages to follow a frameless design. As a result, now each page has a unique URL, each page can be indexed separately, and this should be better for search engines like Google, Yahoo and Microsoft Live.
27/October/2008. Progress in the destruction of the old building.
22/October/2008. We are destroying the old building near the bridge. It originally contained a cleaning water plant, and later some water storage. The building was not used since several years. We will replace it by a new camping zone, that will be called 'Sector Depuradora'.
10/October/2008. We are already preparing the camping entrance for the 2009. Here shown are two new signs in the way from the bridge to the reception, in order to have some parking places for the caravans and motorhomes that have to register in the reception.
8/October/2008. The swimming pool is being repainted with the new beige color, in order to be better integrated with the other buildings nearby. The swimming pool should last, at least, one more year before being replaced.
19/September/2008. We are in the process of painting the Bar Amberes with the new beige color. We have also just changed the signs and pictures, that now look better, according to the new color and to the decoration in the restaurant and supermarket.
5/September/2008. This summer we have deployed 8 new speed-limit traffic signs inside the campsite, in order to try to avoid accidents. The new signs are made of wood.
27/August/2008. The city council has, at last, built height-restricted entrances to the beach. Here below, the entrance to the beach from Empuriabrava, where a new roundabout has been constructed. Today the beach looks better, finally free of camping cars. A great day for a beach in a natural park.
Camping cars can, of course, arrive to our campsite; this has not changed. The new restrictions have been built only in the area between our campsite and the beach.
2/August/2008. Today is a normal, sunny day and here is a photo of the long sandy beach in front of us. Even during these days of high season, a saturday morning, the beach does not look overcrowded.
21/June/2008. There will be a course of karate and kobudo this august. The course is aimed mostly at black belts, but there is also a beginner's group. Inscriptions are open, more information here. It can be a good show, because training is going to happen partly at the camping.
14/June/2008. Prices for 2009 are already available. Reservations are welcome. By now there is only the english version available. We have tried to increase prices well below the 2008-2009 expected inflation in Spain.

As a novelty for 2009, we will allow dogs also in some bungalows 5p Plus : It will most likely be the bungalows 5p Plus that are nearer to the bungalows 5p. As a protection measure for the dog-allergic persons, we will keep the rest of bungalows 5p Plus free of dogs. |
16/May/2008. The gardeners are filling with sand and stones a big hole in the minigolf. That big hole was previously filled with water, but it tended to be dark and dirty, the balls falled inside (and they were difficult to recover), and the whole situation was dangerous with children playing around.
14/May/2008. The restaurant of the campsite has a new outdoors decoration: the color of the walls, the lights and the signs. Anyway, the lights will surely change this next winter.
In front of the restaurant, the new trees did not survive last summer, so we had to change them by some bushes, that will eventually grow.
19/April/2008. After the roads and new plots, now it is time to finish the petanque areas. Here painting and fixing the big pieces of wood.
11/April/2008. We will open the internet cafe on 1st May, with the following prices:

As you can see, we have lowered the price of the computers that we provide inside (from 15 to 20 minutes for 1 euro) and there are two new prices for WiFi, 1 hour and 2 hours, instead of only 24 hours. These new prices should make the WiFi cheaper and more flexible.
29/March/2008. We open again, the new season 2008 begins. We will close on 15 October. Here is the new look of the entrance, with new colors and pictures.
23/March/2008. Fortunately we are going to open on 29 March, and not now. A cold wind (tramontana) is currently blowing and has exceptionally lowered the temperatures during these last days. The weather should again change tomorrow, so temperatures will be much higher on next weekend.
19/March/2008. After passing some new drainage lines, the street near reception needs rebuilding. This street is used mainly by trucks that go to the supermarket.
12/March/2008. Street 7 is almost finished, the machine is extending sand, afterwards the road needs to be leveled, compacted and some lights are still missing. The new boxes for water and electricity have been put and they are almost ready, more about them soon.
28/February/2008. We are starting to prepare 2 petanque areas, between streets 8 and 9, near the supermarket. They are going to have the minimum size that is needed for international competitions, 15 x 4 meters, according to the catalan petanque association.
15/February/2008. Street 8 is being finished, now putting the borders. On the right side, the new plots will be 120 m2 and the electrical and water connections will go to the south side. Because we will try to grow grass, these plots will surely not be available from the beginning, but later from 1st May.
8/February/2008. Street 7 is being very much transformed, with new borders, slopes and electricity lines. Although it is looking terrible today, this area should be finished at the end of this month, three weeks from now. The resulting camping plots will be bigger and fully equipped.
12/January/2008. The work in the camping plots is progressing, but a lot is still needed. Here below, some new electricity and water lines near streets 6 and 7.
