Empuriabrava is a new village that depends on the older village of Castello d'Empuries. Here you can find both information about the new and old villages. There is a map of Empuriabrava and also a list of useful addresses. Another source is this one.

Spain is said to be christian catholic country, although most young (and not so young) people only believe in singers and football players. Most churches are christian catholic, the nearest ones are:

In Empuriabrava, in the village center, just above the Tourist Office in Av. Pompeu Fabra. In July, August and September 2002 there should be a mass each saturday at 19:00. For more information you can phone the tourist office: 972 450802.
In Castelló d'Empúries, in the cathedral. The place is very beautiful and worth visiting. During July, August and September there is mass on saturdays at 20:00 (catalan), on sundays at 9:00 (catalan), 10:00 (german), 12:00 (international) and 20:00 (in spanish. You can phone them: 972 250519, but I don't know if they speak english. Good news: they have now a wonderful web site in all languages.

If you want to confess, just go half an hour before the mass. Depending on the subject we may also be interested!

I haven't been able to find a lutheran or baptist church near here. I have been told that the priest in Castelló d'Empúries occasionally marries couples in their particular variation of catholicism. Also, if you bring your particular priest, you may be able to use the cathedral.

Muslims, there is a mosque in Castelló d'Empúries, in C/Sant Doménec near the corner with C/Pau Casals. It seems it is always open, since you are on holidays you can go there five times a day.

There are a lot of parkings, near us, where you can park your caravan during the winter. In the reception we have all the information. Prices use to range from 150 to 230 euros per year. Here are some of them:

Caravan INN, in Ventallo, at about 20 Kms from us. The biggest one.
INV-GAR, in Figueres, at 10 Kms from us. Practical because, anyway, you have to pass through Figueres.
Puig de la Creu, in Pau, at 8 Kms from us. Transport from/to the parking until here is free, so this parking may be the cheapest option. You can also phone them at 972538121 or 629835820.

Important: All parkings can bring your caravan to the camping just before you arrive and also take it again when you depart. This service is normally given at an extra cost, in the 0 to 60 euros range. It is very convenient and most clients choose it.

You will have to contact the caravan parking directly, but it is very easy, they speak most languages and you can also sent faxes or e-mails. At the beginning you will surely want to visit them in order to choose. Afterwards, each year you will have to tell them just the day you arrive and the day you depart

The biggest provider of places where to park your boot in Empuriabrava is the 'Club Nautico', also called 'Marina d'Empuriabrava', they control the main harbor as well as several other smaller harbors in the village. They have a wonderful web site where you can get all the information like prices and so on, go to the 'Moorings and rates' page and then you will surely be interested just in the 'Dock' section (the mooring section is for the people that want to live in the boot).
